Introduction
Focused on the motto, “one size doesn’t fit all,” Isha Gupta embarked on a journey to make personalized health care a reality for her community. Noticing patients’ lack of access to innovative solutions during her 8+ years as a hospital pharmacist inspired Isha to establish HatchRx Compounding Pharmacy in Long Island, New York.
The Story of HatchRx Compounding Pharmacy
After years of practicing as a pharmacist, Isha realized that the commercial pharmaceutical landscape often left patients without the tailored solutions they needed. This inspired her to explore compounding, and her first online search for guidance led her straight to PCCA.
“My first Google search on how to start my own compounding pharmacy led me to PCCA,” said Isha. “I called right away and spoke to PCCA Senior Business Development Representative Mnar Abu-Shlieba, who guided me through a lot of the process and encouraged me to take C3 (now CORE Compounding Training). That course was eye-opening, and it made me realize just how much more I had to learn.”
“Joining PCCA while still in the planning stages of my pharmacy was a pivotal move — it’s been a great source of information for me,” Isha noted. “With the support of PCCA and the Member Success team, HatchRx opened its doors in December 2022.”

“We serve a vital role in healthcare, particularly as today’s landscape continues to evolve,” Isha shared.
